The CliniCare 100HF hybrid mattress combines the benefits of passive and active systems and offers effective pressure injury prevention and superior comfort in a broad spectrum of care environments.
The CliniCare 100HF offers patients and caregivers the option of a non-powered high end foam mattress with the ability to step up the patients therapy by connecting a pump, this option means the patient does not have to be moved in order to step up their therapy and there is no time lag whilst waiting for a replacement mattress to be delivered.
When a patient’s condition requires active therapy, the mattress can be connected to pump for alternating pressure therapy in a 2-cell cycle to enhance and optimise pressure redistribution and pressure injury prevention.
Effective pressure redistribution
The flexibility of the Clinicare 100HF mattress means that it can be utilised as a reactive mattress for effective pressure redistribution without the pump connected (in a non-powered mode). The air cells inside the mattress are filled with foam and automatically move air between the cells depending on the patient’s position to optimise care and comfort. The mattress contour makes it easier for air to circulate inside the mattress. Additionally the mattress features a 7° slope that helps to reduce pressure in the vulnerable heel area.

The Clinicare 100HF provides the ultimate in patient comfort with a visco-elastic foam top layer which conforms to the profile of the patient’s body to provide comfort and support. Additionally the Clinicare 100HF provides a range of features that are designed to ensure patient safety and comfort whilst ensuring nursing staff efficiency. These include easy access CPR on pump, firm side walls and comfort control adjustment.
The CliniCare 100HF is available with MicroClimate Management (MCM) built into the mattress top cover. The high moisture vapour permeability of the top cover coupled with air flow beneath the top cover enhances the body’s thermoregulatory properties, therefore managing the MicroClimate and contributing to the prevention of pressure injuries.
